Data plays an inevitable role in the way governance, businesses and organizations; both great and small works (operates).


Leading societies in innovation and sustainable development are on top of their game through the effective utilization of continuous data collection, integration and adaption to solve current and forecasted issues in the present generation and the generation to come.
In this blog, I’ll like to introduce some fundamental concepts in data engineering.
Data engineering is a field that involves:

- Its transformation (It has to be refined and cleaned)
- The loading of useful and interpretable data.
Data engineering basically involves the collection and analysis of data.

Data engineering pipelines (tools and processes) are needed for effective implementation of the various phases of data integration.
The democratization of data increases insights across board. No single entity owns and manages the entirety of data; hence the need for collaboration and the formation of networks among systems in order for them to obtain the needed data applicable to their course of operation.
Data is a valuable resource and if it is well understood and effectively utilized, it contributes to the advancement of societies. It has now in this present age been a topic of uttermost interest and research exploration used to identify and tackle the pressing issues of everyday living across the globe.
